tranny mount 2000 lasabre

Can't get the engine up high enough to remove the front left mount...the whole frame eventually starts to raise up...is there something else I need to loosen?

Is this the tranny mount that's round, sticking out forward from the motor to the metal cross piece? If I recall on that one, you take off the bolt underneath, lightly support the engine, and remove the three bracket bolts that hold the mount to the motor/transmission for the mount. Then after it's off the car, you can remove the mount from the bracket?

I need to do mine and haven't checked the factory manual, but that seemed logical when I read it.
