Talking I got some new wheels!

I went shopping for wheels for my Evo 8 and left with 5 sets of wheels and 3 kits.

VeilSide Andrew Racing Dish is too shiny for my taste and looks too plastic. Can you paint over chrome or you have to strip it first?

RX-7 C-West comes with 2 sets of wheels which is pretty good. The one in gold looks very cool.

Bleach can strip most chrome, which is recommended if you want to re-paint them...

IIRC (and by the box photo...), those gold ones are Aoshima's Advan RGs, which are quite popular in this forum, and are generally better than Fujimi's version of the same wheel. What are the other wheels in the box?

Some people suggest WorkMeister. I will try all of them on to see which one looks the best with the Evo 8.

the stock RX-7 silver wheels are the other set. RG's are my favourite wheels in real life, so naturally i've been trying to get as many 1/24 Aoshima sets as possible to. if you or anyone else feels like giving yours up...

jay@af, thanks for the tip.
I just took a quick look at the wheels. I think the stock ones are just silver Advan RG as S13_Iketani said. I am not familiar with wheels. I just picked what looks cool to me. I will take some more pictures when I get home.

Here are the wheels that came with the C-West kit. I think they are stock RX-7 wheels.

ljrlude01, I am the 5th person with this kit today. Where is the 6th?

Rtuned, I bought all big size wheels thanks to you.

Yes, the gold rims are Advan RG. It is shown on the tree. They are about 1/2mm smaller in diameter than Workmeister (on top). Hardly noticeable.
The silver wheels are about 1mm smaller than Workmeister (on top).

Note: The picture is not to scale.
