92 Chevy g20 continued Headache
Ok I have been throwing new parts at this Unknown problem. I guess its time for a mechanic to take a look at it.
Replaced following- 1)Egr and egr solenoid 2)TPS sensor 3)Ignition Control Module 4)New fuel pump/assembly 5)Tuned Up..new plugs/wires/cap/rotor 6)Fuel Relay switch 7)Air filter 8)Oil Change Fixed TPS and Ignition Control today, reset codes..drove it for awhile. Came home and let it sit. Went back out to start it up, fired up then died out which is the problem. Sometimes i can sit and crank and crank and it will eventuall start. Today took a few seconds then fired up and ran. Engine light did come on..which advised O2 sensor, which has been replaced 2 times now. I'm lost.....Motor only has 22k miles on it..van had been sitting for a year before i got it. |

Re: 92 Chevy g20 continued Headache
Ok havent checked fuel pressure yet..dont have guage, replaced the ignition coil and thought that was it. Couldnt duplicate problem, until the next day...same scenario...after up to run temp....let sit for awhile, go to start...and it dies out...
anyway gonna get a fuel pressure guage next and check that...anyone know where the test port is on 92 Chevy G20? |
