Crank position sensor question
Working on a family member's car, she reports that it often starts then dies, then she starts it a second time and runs fine. I found two codes, P0335 and P0327. P0327 is knock sensor low voltage and P0335 is crank position sensor. I've heard of the crank sensor causing hard starts before, and if that sensor is bad it could cause engine knock right? I'm going to do some more testing before buying any parts, but my main question is, does the P0335 code refer to a problem with the 7x sensor in the block or the 24x sensor behind the balancer pulley? Thanks guys!
