Lightning Expedition

Transplanted the front engine bay and frame from the Revell Ford Lightning into the snap Revell Expedition. There is no real chassis, but made the underside of the interior work best for me as I could.

Re: Lightning Expedition

Hello Frank,

nice conversion. Could be done in real life as well. As mentioned before, the wheels are (way) too small. Otherwise it looks great.

Re: Lightning Expedition

The Fujimi tires that I could find were they would fit the wheels, that weren't too tall:/

Re: Lightning Expedition

Looks Cool =) Now you have to start as i have done.. buy wothles cars to get spare wheels And also the Fujimi and Aoshima wheel packages are awesome I only wish there was more offroad wheels out there! Edit: I just got hold of 4 sets of Iroc bogger tires from the So Real trucks! they are gonna sit awesome on my Jeep Grand cherokee and i might even build a Chevy truck as well now

Re: Lightning Expedition

So they did make an SVT of the expedition! I never knew that.
Nice job with the model. I actually think the wheels are alright although a bit small, but afterall it's a truck.
