Unhappy Occasional load pop from radio

I bought a '95 G20 last fall. Recently, I started hearing a load POP from the front. I thought it was something hitting the car.

Now I have noticed that after the POP one speaker stops playing. I'm not sure which one yet becasue it starts up again. Also, I sometimes get a Hsss right after the POP that lasts for several seconds.

As far as I know this car has the stock CD player and speakers.

Has anyone run into this type of thing before ?

From reading this forum, I notice that this car has a separate amplfier from the CD player/Radio. Are there separate Amps for each speaker ?

I suppose that an Amp could be going bad. Are they replaceable ?

Thanks for any help...

I don't know that much about the wiring and the "pops", but not only are the amps replaceable, but I have 2 spare rear amps and possibly a front. So if that ends up being the problem, contact me.
