Can't program Fob on 05 Venture

Tried all the steps as out-line on 100's of threads. When I open and close the door I do not hear the chime or buzz to tell me that that step is done and of course no chime at the 7-second mark nor at the 15 second mark.

Yes I did all the interior lights are working normal. I can open the door including the rear hatch the interior lights come on then off after closing (slight delay when lights go-off as normal)

Note this is a 2005 could GM have made an changes on the BCM ????? I also tried opening the passenger door no difference.

When I turn the key to ACC it chimes and when I do it the second time it chimes again. When I open and close the door NO chime.

You know I bought this van for my small business and I seem to be wasting more time trying to fix stuff then run the business. Of course the wife keeps on reminding me that I should have bought a new Chrysler van (very cheap) with all the factory discounts vs this 8 year old Venture

Re: Can't program Fob on 05 Venture

Update another item fixed. I did program the fob and it works perfect. This time I removed all the fuses in that row. I closed the passenger door went to the drivers door got-in did my steps with the keys opened the door and for the 1st time I hear the beep I then pressed on the open and lock buttons on the fob and 7 seconds latter another beep ( could not believe it) I held the buttons for at least a minute with no more beeps, I was very disappointed at this point thinking it would not work. I said oh well. I placed the fuses back in and I did tried the fob and guess what it worked. All I can say is Yahoo Yahoo.
