If you can find someone wrecking a GTR do a head transfer. It is comon to do and bolts right up. If your lucky enough to find a complete head woohoooo your in the red zone now dude.
Other than that I would think a front mount, fuel pump, custom chip, and maybe a second hand turbo of say T3/T4 something with about a 62mm trim size would fit the bill fine. All up this way if you can find second hand front mount and turbo the rest should fit your budget.

If i do the head transfer it will then make it a dohc wont it and that would be quite hard to transfer to i suspect or would i be able to do it myself. How much would the head cost?
And what do u reackon the power rating will be after the head transfer? |

I personally have not done it but I have seen two done by other shops here in New Zealand. from what I gathered just by doing that coupled with a frontmount, fuel pump, ecu and 1 bar the car went from a paultry 165kw at the wheels to 275kw. That is a pretty healthy increase. This was done on an R33 GTS25t chassis.

Provided the RB30 bottom end can handle the extra power then you are effectivly doing a displacement increase to an RB26det.
You should get aleast the stock GTR horsepower numbers, plus however much your going to gain from adding an extra 400cc of displacement. I should imagine some rewiring is also required to run the GTR ECU as well, I cant imagine the RB30 one being capable of handling the fuel demands of a 3.0L GTR engine.
