What kind of rims??

Right now I only have 15" stock rims on my car. Should I get 16 or 17" rims next...And what kind look good on a 92 accord 2 door??

In my opinion, 17" would be best. I have had both 16's and 17's and the 17's will allow you to go with a lower profile tire (stiffer sidewall, better cornering). The 17 will fill your wheel well a lot better and look generally nicer, but tires will most likely be more expensive. Do some research, and if you find a set of really nice 16's go with em, but I like 17's.

get 17's. for an accord 16's are kinda small. and just like slutty mentioned, if you get 17's you can get lower profile tires and stay with the same overall stock dimensions.

Keep 15's unless you plan on lowering you car. If you get 16's or 17's with recycled condom 30 series tires your car is gonna have a huge fender gap(wheels look to small for the car because accords are large). if you stay with 15's keep about 60 series tires so it has some meat. I have a 1997 honda accord and they come stock like off-road trucks. I put on 17" Konig imagines and a 40 series tire and I still have about an inch of fender with a 2.25 in. drop. What I'm trying to say is that your wheels will look super small if you put on a low series tire and if you put on 17's without lowering your car it will handle like a soccer van and look like a monster truck.

I have 40 series tires on my 17's as well, 40 series is pretty low profile already. Lowering your car will improve your handling significantly, but putting lower profile tires without lower your car won't make the handling worse. Lower profile tires will improve handling on cars that are lowered, or with factory ride height. The reason being the sidewalls of low profile tires are stiffer than factory tires, this means they will bend less during cornering, keeping more of the tread directly under your wheels and on the pavement. Lowering your car would definately improve handling, but putting 17's on without lowering it wouldn't hurt handling.

very true...there would be less rolling resistence in the tires with lo profs and they would probably be a wider series than 15's too. At the same time, what I mean is that if the overall size of the tire/rim of the 15 is smaller than the overall size of the tire/rim combo of the 17's, then the car will be riding slightly higher thus affecting an unmeasurable amount of handling...but that's just enough to soil my panties

i was planning on lowering and keeping my 15's (want an almost complete sleeper), are you saying that my handling would be better w/17s? i don't wanna be flashy at all, i'm right in between b-more and DC, something will get stolen...(plus, i'm paranoid)

I too am planning to make mine a "kind of" sleeper... since I live in maine no-one will be stealing my rims, and besides mine will have luglocks on the rims. I'm getting Keonig Absolut grey gunmetal rims, with polished lip, which will look sweet on my black accord. I'm getting Low Pro's and and exhaust.. that's all you will be able to see from the outside. best thing to do is not advertise (stickers, mass amounts of external add-ons and bodykits...). I'm also adding some window tint so that no-one can see my stereo equipment.

honda also does sell some 17 inch aluminum rims, if you can afford their prices.. but those luglocks will just about deter anyone..

So if I do stick with the 15" rims or get 17" ones, and lower my car...do I need a tie, strut or sway bar??

how far are you lowering it? if you're lowering it 2-3 inches you will/may need a camber kit or camber adjustment bolts.. the camber adjust bolts are a lot cheaper, still $30 for a pair I believe, but they work pretty effectively as I am told. they just replace the stock straight bolts.and allow for up to a 3 degree adjustment.. good luck.

Well I was thinking about getting the Eibach Sportline spring, which will only lower my car 1.9" in thr front and 1.8" in the rear. Is that low enough?

Low enough is highly subjective...If you want it to be an every day driver, that should be fine. It depends how low you want your car, and how many catalytic converters you are willing to crush on speed bumps. The spring kit should improve your handling fairly significantly.
