'95 Astro Cargo Van

Hi, I've got a '95 Astro cargo van, with a little problem. The fan switch, four wire type, was completely destroyed, so I took the panel off. According to the parts store, it said a 4 wire witch is for non-air conditioned vans, but mine has a/c. I'm not sure if it's an add on system or something, but it sure looks like everything's supposed to be there. Anyway, I picked up a new switch, and a pig tail to repair the melted plug in from the old switch. So, my problem is that there's another switch, with two wires coming to it, and I think it's supposed to activate when the slider for Heat/Defog/Vent drops all the way down to A/C, but I can't seem top figure out where it goes. It's got one mounting hold in it, and which is the size of a normal trim/dash 7 or 8 mm head, which should help place it, but I'm just drawing a complete blank. I can post a pic if it'd help. Otherwise, does this ring a bell for anyone?
