Weird sound when depressing the throttle
Re: 1995 Porsche 911 (993) Cab: When I depress the throttle there is a distinct and weird noise, a combination of whistle, hiss and whine. If the gas pedal is moved slightly up and down the noise follows the pedal depression, squeaking back and forth. Any ideas about the cause?

I didn't think the '95 911 was a turbo
Maybe I'm wrong. If its not, then it can't be blow off valves. Might want to check your intake box and piping. There may be a leak thats causing some whistle on acceleration. Does the noise increase with engine speed (i.e. rpm), or with car speed? Is it present in all gears at the same engine speed?
