1998 suburban trans problem

shifts hard on take off(when it will drop to 2nd)then ok to 3rd.no od. checked fuses all ok that i can find. obd test shows shift solenoid malfunction and also catalyst below something bank 2.now what?

Usually a shorted shift solenoid will cause this condition,,,harsh engagement under this condition is normal,,pressure solenoid is not regulating pressure and is allowed to go to full pressure,,,protects transmission from burn up.....
