2002 suburban mirrors
Hi,
I just bought a 2002 Suburban with the heated, power, etc mirrors. Both mirrors will only move out or up. No down or in. I suspect the main mirror control switch but wondered if anyone had encountered this? I have a screwed up back right now so I won't be fixing it for a few weeks. Thanks in advance for any help. Re: 2002 suburban mirrors
I have seen some posts where folks have disassembled and cleand the switches in these. I personally have not done so. You may need to replace the switch.

others here have done this and were sucessful. if this still does not work then see if you can get a new one. if it works on some positions it is most always the switch with this model. |

Re: 2002 suburban mirrors
Thanks guys - that confirms what I was thinking. Might have a fractured vertebrae so gonna lay low for a few days until they get back to me. Should be a simple fix.
