No Reverse lights on my G6
I have a 2007 G6, base model with 3.5 engine. with 110K.
The reverse lights do not come on in reverse. They do turn on when it is dark and I unlock the car with the keyless remote. I have replaced the neutral safety switch (used from junkyard) I have tried new relay 33 (fuse panel in trunk) I have swapped mini fuse 17 ( reverse lights) with fuse 5 (emissions) fuse panel in trunk I have cleaned BCM connectors with contact cleaner and coated with dialectic grease. Some posts are mentioning the BCM. I did see a post on a G6 forum that showed everything that the BCM controls and it did not mention the reverse lights. If it is the BCM. . . I know that I could replace it myself. But what needs to be reprogrammed after I replace it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance |
