McLaren X-1 - a one-off design by MSO for a client in the Middle East...

One one hand I like its individuality and that the owner and McLaren went to such lengths to create such a one off but on the other hand I cant think its beautiful, maybe it would look better without the wheel spats.

May the next one off we see be a spider version of the Can-Am or something similar.

I LOVE it! Original, 'out-there', classically modern....It meets the design brief well, and fair play. Yes its a marmite car but WOW, just WOW!!!!!

Are there any close-ups of the fantastic hinges for the wheel spats?
