Help with new car/suv purchase/trade....

My husband and I have a 09 GMC Sierra 2wd that we are possibly wanting to trade....so here goes...

What I am wanting is a car that is my primary driving vehicle - we also have a 02 GMC Envoy that we are just going to keep its paid off, 4WD and still nice. He also has a work truck 00 Silverado 2wd.

What I want in a car is something with low maintenance costs, something that is flashy or draws some attention, sort of unique looking, a really solid car, something that is not too fadish in design - meaning something thats not just going to look cool today but worn out next year.
As far as SUVs Ive only looked at are 03-06 Lexus GX-470 SUV or the infinit SUVs.

Cars I like the Mazda 3 Hatchback 2011-2012. But this is about the extent of what I have looked at. Really truly I love a BMW or Mercedes but we had a 02 BMW 3 series about a year, the AC and heat went out and it was a fortune to fix. So I just assume they are all just too high mantienance wise.

So basically I would like thoughts on those cars and maybe some other suggestions....
