Ford Focus WRC's - 1999 Rally GB

Hi All,

Here are two Hasegawa kits of the Ford Focus WRC from Rally GB in 1999. The works car was originally completed when the kit was new (i.e. quite some time ago). Back then I did all the orange parts with the kit-supplied decals, which came out as bad you can imagine. Many years later, with another kit and S27 Solberg/Valvoline decals in hand I started on a duo build - one new build and one renovation. Quite happy with the Valvoline car, with added night lights from a Hasegawa Focus WRC Monte Carlo kit. The red on the rebuild was done with Tamiya Fluorescent Red straight from the rattle can, with blue stripes cut from the decal sheet.

Two nice builds.
Never seen the Solberg livery built, so that's a nice surprise. And the restauration of the martini-liveried Focus looks good too.
