Vented battery

Do u have to use a vented battery in a 02 buick lesabre /// thanks

Since your battery is located under your rear seat, it is vented to allow harmful gasses to escape to the atmposphere, not into the passenger compartment. While a non-vented battey will work, its is not recomended for saftey reasons. Use the correct battery for your vehicle.

If you us a traditional (lead acid) battery,then yes it should be vented. But there are other choices which do not require venting. Click Here for an option.
