Tonight at 7:30 pm, in Los Angeles:

Quote:
* Rob Cohen Q&A following "The Fast and the Furious"
Paul Walker, Vin Diesel
Director: Rob Cohen
Rating: PG-13 for violence, sexual content and language
Running Time: 1 hr. 46 min.
Genre: Thriller/Action

While most of the guests who appear at a Hollywood's Master Storytellers program wear only one hat, Rob Cohen has extensive experience in all three of the Storyteller roles of Director, Writer and Producer. In the mid 1970s, he produced a number of high profile films for the legendary music entrepreneur Berry Gordy's Motown Films division, including MAHOGANY and THE WIZ. He turned director in 1980 with the critically praised A SMALL CIRCLE OF FRIENDS and has written several of the films he's directed, including DRAGON: THE BRUCE LEE STORY.

His 2001 mega-hit THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS and last year's XXX established him as someone who could deliver a powerhouse action movie that also displayed keen intelligence and memorable characters. Los Angeles Times film critic Kevin Thomas says about THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS: "This is an action picture that's surprising in the complexity of its key characters and portents of tragedy. That 'The Fast and the Furious' is loaded with jaw-dropping races and chases is to be expected; that its people matter more than their fabulously customized vehicles is not. The result is an intensely involving entertainment that can be enjoyed by viewers who scarcely know how their own cars work."
You get to watch the movie and Q&A the director.

I can hear it now:

"What were you thinking?"
"Do you even know what nitrous is?"
"What year did they make that 7-speed Eclipse?"
"Were the car decorators on acid?"
"I hate your dumb ass! You make me want to vomit with rage!"

Oops! Who let Brian in? :hehehe:

Maybe I can get some Type R stickers for my Grand Prix! It's been a bit sluggish lately! Or perhaps I can score a couple of SR20 motors for mah Civic!

OMG You're kidding me. Memorable characters? Where!??! The only thing memorable about any of the characters is how skanky the chicks were. Keen intelligence? Yeah the chinese guys showed keen intelligence when they blew up that eclipse. This is ridiculous. Complex characters...this is just disgusting...I hate rob cohen and craig libidoman...They'll both get special seats at satan's table.
