Angry problem with my gm remote 15042968

I lost a remote to my truck - and had an extra - i programmed it and had to re-program one existing one also. The only problem I have encountered is that the driver's side door will not respond when I lock the doors. It will unlock (if I manually lock it) (as do all the other doors) but it will not lock with the remote. I can set the alarm.
I tried re-programming again...same result
Any ideas

It's not your remote that is bad. Does your door unlock and lock okay with the buttons in the vehicle?

yes the door locks and unlocks with the buttons - it just doesn't work with the remote
