2001 Stratus shutting off
I have a 2001 Stratus, After 15-20 mins of driving the car shuts off. After it cools down it fires right up and shuts off again after it warms up. Already changed the coilpack, had it run on a scanner and tests as a bad MAP sensor. Checked wiring, could find nothing melted-any suggestions. Thanks for the help.

Re: 2001 Stratus shutting off
I wouldnt think the MAF sensor could even do this.. If it was filthy maybe, but I would try the coolant temp sensor, I had an issue like this on a chevy truck..but it wouldnt just die..It would run worse and worse till it just couldnt run.. It thought that the motor was cold all the time and kept chocking the motor.. So was getting to much fuel and not enough air. hope this helped.
