Question High demand for the Maybach in Europe?

Is it true that the demand for the Maybach in Europe is so high that some dealers are charging a $100,000 premium to customers who want the car right now. Is it hotter than the SL55 when it came out? Any comments on this?

I do a significant amout of driving over here in Germany, and so far I've seen ONE Maybach - and that was in Switzerland in Decemer 2002. I just about forgot that they exist. On the other hand I see about three SL55's every day. (In fact I think that they sell more SL55's than normal SL's).
