2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt
Hi guys,
After 3 months i finally finished the Mustang Bullitt. This kit was a pleasure. It started with some serious body work and a lot of sanding. It's been a while that i build a street car and took me a while to remember it all. I've been doing a lot of race cars in the past couple of years and totally forgotten about street cars. I also have been experimenting with some different paint brands. The body parts where primed with Halfords plastic white primer(very much tamiya like), the sprayed some Zero paints Bullitt Green on it. Cleared it with Halfords clear and then i saw some flaws in the body, so i decided to sand back the clear and give a few light coats of Zero Bullitt Green. No more Halfords clear this time, but Zero 2K. Now that i was happy with the paint, a small but imported part was missing(the front grill). I think it must be on a vacation: . So made a new front grill from scratch. It all worked well. The kit is mostly build out of the box. i just concetrated on my painting skills and as you can see NO PLOSHING, because i didn't need to. Any way here are some pics:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Best regards, Lesley |

Re: 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt
Great work, and the finish came out great.
The outdoor shots make it look almost like the real thing. Just needs a license plate. |
