1995 Blazer 4X4

Hi. My name is Mark and I live in Trinidad in the West Indies. I have a 1995 Chevy Blazer 4x4 4.3L Vortec. Does anyone know of a programmer that can shift the Speed Limiter? Can't find a Hypertech Programmer to do it. only from 1996 up.
Ihave a Supercharger for it but makes no sense if the limiter is on 99mph. I understand it can raise to 128mph. Just looking for the tool to do it.
Mark

AFAIK you cant put any forced induction without upgrading the entire fuel system.
Maybe the engine you have is different from the typical 95 Vin-w motors in the states?

I have never seen a programmer for these trucks either. From my understanding its due to the lame EFI system combined with OBDI.

The SUV came from the USA. It is OBDII not I. I forgot to mention that the Supercharger is an Eaton M90 for the blazer. it came off a 97 blazer. I have the wire harness, Computer, intake everything. I dunno if there was a transition of 95 blazers that came with OBDII just before the 96. You know anything about that?
The other theory is that if I'm replacing the computer with one from a 97, doesn't that make it technically a 97? (Meaning a programmer for a 97 should then work/) just a question... I'm not a mechanic when it comes to that sorta mods.

Re: 1995 Blazer 4X4

If you have two O2 sensors on the exhaust, one before the cat and one after its OBD2 otherwise it's OBD 1.
I think they called it 1.5 cause it has the 2 connector.
Regardless the big difference is the efi and intake. Both of which need to go into the scrap pile to get more O2 and fuel into the combustion chamber.
It's possible just difficult. They did it on the Cyclone and Typhoon which was OBD 1.

If you get this working I'm sure many of us 95 owners would like to know what it took so make sure to update us on the progress.

One other thing I'm not sure of is the link between the ECM and PCM if there is one.
