Exclamation 98 Venture van no A/C

Lady I know has a 1998 Venture van with no A/C .

We turn it on and the Compressor is out. Checked the 10 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood. Can it be something minor or the clutch has gone bad?

What are the pressures? The Venture van was bad about leaking condensors, passasnger lower corner ususally. If there is no freon, the a/c will not engage.

Re: 98 Venture van no A/C

Condenser leaks (OEM) are on '01-02 vans only---other leak areas are at rear liquid line just above gas tank filler tube- under the rubber insulator... and of course the compressor shaft seal and belly o-rings....
