Tamiya Porsche 961 LeMans build

Here's my annual LeMans palooza build; Tamiya's Porsche 961. Prep work ahead of time was body prep, masking the integral windows, filling the side pins, removing the solid headlight lenses to accept 959 units, priming w/Mr. Surfacer 500 then Tamiya white, Tamiya pure white, and U-Pol clear. On race day I polished the paint and had the model done by midnight (15 hours, but more like 12 hours of actual work). I have about 16 total hours in it. Very simple kit, good for a quick LeMans build.

tamiya 961 is not an easy model,mostly cause it was a nearly sloot car kit. U did it great,as usual !
