yeah you can, but you will need to drop a h22a in there.

What engine is in a 96 lude? If it's SOHC then an H22 head will not work.

by normal prelude, i'm thinking he meant Si, so it'd be an H23 - in which case, the head swap would work.

if not an Si, its an F22, then i would recommend just a whole damn swap

Yea, I was thinkin that same thing. If's its an H series engine, which I am guessin it is, a head swap would work. But yea, F22's suck, if its a SOHC F22, get an H22, cuz the F22 it's worht the money to build (just my opinion).

F22/H22 will not work.

for a simple rule of thumb...if the letters match, ur good to go. if not, u better have tons of cash an patience for something that isn't going to be worth it (im talking an entirely custom motor that wouldn't be worth that money)

Do the h22a swap then, you will have 70 more hp for around 2500 dollars.

VTEC ludes are pretty quick.

The F22 isn't really a performance engine, you will be better off with a H22 swap. It will be worth every penny, after it's in you'll wonder why you waited so long to do it!
