Is Mercedes benz alot to maintain?

i live near a middle class nehiborhood and i don't see any around i was wondering is this because they cost a lot to fix and a lot for insurance?

My experience is that repairs are pricey but in the range of other Germans auto's with the exception of the VW.

I live in Quean beyan, Australia, there are just one shop do this maintain service ,and maintain charge is expensive.

It can be very expensive. there a lot of "hidden" costs, like registration fees, insurance... Not to mention that you have to use the most expensive gas.
Also, tires are expensive, service too.
You have to make a lot of money to afford a Mercedes.

Where I live they are a average car and there is many, many of them. Almost like the working mans car. Not so for me. YES they are not cheap to keep up and even buying parts for them is most of the time something you have to get from a dealer so top dollar.
