Porsche 993 GT2
I'm a huge sucker for the 993. The plan was to build a car I would have. Riviera Blue color (Zero), BBS wheels with lip, stripped interior. Turbocharged, obviously...
Base were two Taisan kits, discs are from SLR (crazy modeler PE set), brakes from CLK DTM, fuel caps and wiper are from Lexus JGTC... Engine is a bit reworked. Resin external wastegate, Evergreen profiles, intercoolers are from Tamiya R35 and turbocharger is from 1/12 934 Jägermeister. Me and my buddies were in Hungary on a competition. you could fit a baby in that turbo
I built the Taisan kit a few years ago when I first started building and it is miserable. I have it stashed for parts. I also have the Club version. The photo etch discs, are they just the standard Crazy Modeler discs? Will they fit the kit brakes, or would I have to find another brake set? I have been waiting to build the second kit so I could find some detail parts. Amazing build, by far the most realistic 1/24 model I have ever seen. I honestly thought you were showing reference photos untill I saw the hand. VERY well done

Great Porsche Mrak, you did and excelent job and well deserve that first place.
I like the color choice but with all of those details, looks amazing. What about the interior and the engine? no photos? Miguel

I am also a sucker for 993. This build is mind-blowing. There is so much detail. The chassis is just a work of art. I can't even fully comprehend what you have done with the brake disc. I would love to see more close-up pictures of that monster turbo!!

Even if IMHO the turbo is a bit oversized, you did a incredible detailing work !! absolutely great model !!
