Simil`R Ford GT GT1 or "Matech´s Angels"

Hi Guys

My last finished model, the Simil`R Ford GT GT1.
A long time I have waiting for a kit of the new Ford GT.
The kit is very difficult and takes a lot of time to manage all the problems.
But it is possible to build a fine model out of the kit and I like it very much.
I do many specials like scratched build control boxes, airpipes, coolers...
Also I do a lot of bodywork, because a few bodypart misfit .
But now I can show you the open- and the closed-version.

On a model competion in Belgium I won the 1. place by the racingcars with this model.

Also I love the ford gt, but the simil R kit is really disappointing (seems a kit coming back from the 80s).

I had the pleasure to see this beautiful and very nice model at Jabbeke, Belgium a couple of months ago. Looks even better than real life. One question. What did you use for gold foil?

@ Miguel My english is bad, too. The brand Simil´R is out of France. They do the kits out of plastic like Revell.
Unfortunately the parts does´t fit good together, but think the kits are not bad, because it is just a small manufacturer and the price for a kit, including so a lot of parts, is really OK !!

@ Lesley Hi Lesley, next year I will come back in Jabbeke! It is a great exhibition, I'm looking forward for the new bigger hall.
I used foil of a chocolate bunny for Easter.
