Amps vs. Distance
Ok, so I moved my battery to my trunk, seems simple enough, but now the starter barely turns it over, and thats after it's sat for a while. The ground is good, and I used 1/0 guage cable, so I'm curious, the battery I have now is rated at 635 C.C.A, and 835 C.A. So, would stepping up to a 770 C.C.A/1000 C.A battery make a difference, or should I look elsewhere for the problem?

Cable distance sure has an effect on the final electrical output. (or I always thought it did...) But I'm no expert. Let's wait and see if anyone has the right answer..

Re: Amps vs. Distance
Maybe try putting this in the car audio forum?
