so, a question, the "M99 PES" is the current plate or not ? It looks like exactly the UK plate.

Unlikely to be the current plate but perhaps the owner has continued to pay UK registration fees. Maybe someone can look that up on the DVLA website?

I have yet to see the with any other plate but I also have yet to see it being driven anywhere but the Franschhoek Museum property.
