2005 headlights will not turn on
Last night my wife discovered that her headlights would not turn on. The flash-to-pass functions work but the headlights will not illuminated. I am going to replace the 20A CB and see if that's the cause of the problem. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Re: 2005 headlights will not turn on
Her "auto" headlights do not come on? What happens when she manually turns the lights on? If they don't work, then if flash to pass works, looks like a multifunction switch problem....

Re: 2005 headlights will not turn on
In her '95 there is no "auto" function. Shoud we be looking at the multi-function switch? Thanks.

Re: 2005 headlights will not turn on
The switch is where I would start. It sounds like it has gone bad and is not making contact somewhere. Unfortunately it is stalk mounted and may be a pain to get to. If you decide to replace this yourself be very careful of the airbag and make sure you disable the system prior to removing it from the wheel.

Re: 2005 headlights will not turn on
Is this a '95 or '05?
If '05, then you make sure it's in low beam......now activate the lever for flash to pass....if the low beams light, now switch to high beam..... if the highs and lows work on flash to pass, but they don't when you turn the switch manually to headlights, it is a bad multifunction switch...... |
