Is mercedes alot to fix?

how much more would it be compared to a honda like double ?

yes or triple and do a search for some parts on autozone see how much more it is and how much you will have to go get OEM.

I had a BMW and sold it for that reason.

Yes, it is very expensive to fix. That's why I got myself a nice little honda civic. Saves on gas and on parts.
