can't gas into my trailblazer ___HELP

when i go to the gas stations i start pump gas in it goes for a couple liters then shuts off ( you know when the tank is full it shuts off) but its not and then every 10 seconds it shut off so it takes me 30 mins to fill up my tank.
the mech tryed to fix it but he dosent even know what a loser some certifed mech.. but anyways they have replaced my gas tank with a brand new one and also put in a new gas filter, and some rubber house dont know what it called...
They thought it was the rollover ball not letting fuel in. but it wasnt
so know im on here trying to fix my prblm hopefully someone can help me

Was the vent pipe that leads into the filler neck replaced?

The vent pipe problem was a common issue on these trucks, there was a TSB addressing this referring to internal blockage as well as kinks, debris /nesting animals all contributed. I believe an updated pipe was issued to resolve the issue.

Just curious, was this the fix for your truck?
I've also heard the vent valve and/or evap purge solenoid could be culprits. I'm having the same problem with my 2006

Re: can't gas into my trailblazer ___HELP

Seen this happen on many different vehicles.....with different solutions....

Can be a plugged vent solenoid.....can be the tube to it.....can be the filler neck.....bad canister.....can be a blockage in an evap line......can be the tank, itself....

With that many solutions, you need someone who can "diagnose" your problem, rather than be a parts changer.....

One thing you can try, to eliminate the vent solenoid, is disconnect the hose to it....then try filling and see if it makes any difference....FYI....this will probably set a code, if there isn't one already.....
