Tamiya Nissan 300zx

Finally managed to avert an epic disaster and actually complete a car model!
Kit is tamiya with hobby design wheels, fujimi brakes and mufflers.
added tamiya tape seatbelts, some engine wiring and some scaled down magazines.
Let me know what you think!

Great work, I love it. Well detailed and I love the yellow body/black wheel combo!

Re: Tamiya Nissan 300zx

Very nice work, and great attention to detail.
Those first couple of pictures with the body on, could almost pass as a real car in the photos!

Re: Tamiya Nissan 300zx

Congrats! That 3rd pic looks stunning! The whole model looks great.

I'd paint clear red on those rear bumper side lights. Looks like the only detail missing.

Re: Tamiya Nissan 300zx

Very nice model! The color is great, engine detail is excellent, and I like the outside pics very much - especially the third one. I think the black lines around the fog lights and on the rear bumper could use a little touch up, though.

Did you have to adjust the suspension to get negative camber?

Re: Tamiya Nissan 300zx

cheers guys! i cheated with the suspension, i had to reduce the axle width to fit the oversize hobby design wheels, and when making the cut at either end of the axle i just cut at a slight angle, which gave an angled mounting surface = camber.
the wheels were then superglued in place.. brakes on
