Is uniboby safe
Hi everyone I have a 97 Taurus Today I found pieces of rust on garage floor. I looked under car and on right side there are large pieces of rust under vinyl trim that runs length of body.Some are about 2"X3"X1/4".There is loose rust the whole lenght of car on both sides.Is car still safe to drive?Thanks

that answer is hard most taurus are a unibody that body goes after time i had a wagon that the unibody was gone the told me it would crumple like a can in a accident but yet the wagon was rearended by a driver doing 40mph or higher and it with stood it so its really hard to give a yes or no answer mine was u shaped or less when its supposed to be square all the way around so there's hundreds of opinions
i would say just watch it and be careful also try to clean underbody as often as possible but gently dont want to punch more hole with pressure washer mine mad it 3 years that way till hit
