Solex carburetor

Hey guys. I just bought a new Solex carburetor(new but old model i guess). It's an original Solex, made in France, but i don`t have any idea what car used it. I can`t find any info on the web either. Maybe you guys have a clue, because I sure don`t. It says:

There were many cars that used that very carb in a bunch of variations. VW used them on almost if not all their carburetted engines.
