Codes p1406 and p0401
I have a 99 mustang 3.8. My CEL is on and these were the codes. I know they are related to the EGR. The thing is my engine light comes on and then a bit later will go off. Why would it be doing this? I have also noticed a slight exhaust smell. If the EGR is bad would there be a smell?
