97 Camry LE -- lots of busted everywhere

Cheers from Illinois!

Left my car on accessory overnight, went to get a jump in the morning, but a friend put the cables on the wrong ends, blowing everything up in the process.

I've swapped out the battery (battery is good), checked all smaller fuses (replaced almost all of them), but don't know where to go next.

Problems:
1) Car does not recognize when car is started (ding does not go to half-time when car turns on, continues to ding when door is open as if door was open with the keys in the ignition and car off).
2) Power locks do not work
3) Dashlights/radio/heater/accessory lights do not work, domelight does.
4) Car does not go into gear without manual bypass
5) Both low and high beam headlights work, ambers do not (unless hazards are on), taillights do not, brakelights do not. Haven't had the tools to check reverse lights.
Past that, everything runs smoothly and like a Camry should.

Any ideas?

Have you checked all the fuses in both fuse boxes? There is a fuse box behind the coin tray on the left side of the dash and one in the engine compartment along the driver's side fender.

Yep, sure have. It took me a day of researching to realize there was one under the tray, but yes, I replaced a blown fuse and a few other ones just for the sake of doing so.

There's a main fusible link in or on the alternator. That is most likely the problem.
