1997 Lumina Won't Start
I have a '97 chevy lumina. I just got the oil changed and the radiator flushed out about three days ago (which I had JUST gotten done three months ago)....
This morning it wouldn't start. It coughs a bit at first for a split second and then just starts clicking over and over again. The oil and engine light are now on, randomly....we tried jumping it with no success....what could be wrong?? |

Re: 1997 Lumina Won't Start
Your volts light comes on when there is no voltage being generated by your alternator. Your oil light comes on when your oil pressure is too low. Both of these conditions will be present when your engine is not running. You have to troubleshoot it from the beginning. You need to see if there is spark and fuel. Check your fuel pressure. Try spraying starting fluid in the intake while cranking and see if it makes a difference.
