alright first post for me. and im no where near a car guy. but i was wondering is it possible to make a overhead valve into a dual overhead cam. i would like to make a 2003 impala from a ohv to dohc and i was wondering if it could be done and how much would it cost if possible.

even without new heads and cams it can't be done.

somebody in another thread said it was possible. He said there was a kit for a fiero that would do it.

Re: ohv to dohc conversion
Chevy built a 3.4L DOHC motor in the late '80s/early '90s. It was used in the Lumina Z34. I don't know too much about it, but it wouldn't surprise me if it used the same OHV engine block, albeit slightly modified.
