Finisher's Paint chart?

Does anyone have a link to a finisher's paint chart. Or a website that carries the paint and has pics of the colors? Also any good suppliers as rainbow ten is gone and not taking orders.

Re: Finisher's Paint chart?

I don't think it's available anymore and I never saw a color chart back when it was around.

I bought a few colors several years ago.

Re: Finisher's Paint chart?

I haven't tried it myself, but how about contacting the manufacturer? (ordering info at the bottom)

I think you meant to say Modelers's color, which is no longer available. I wish the current brand owner Inter Allied brings it back...

Re: Finisher's Paint chart?

Hi

You can buy Finisher paints on ebay.

I have a 'sort of' chart translated from various places mainly R10's site when active. It is in no way compelete and may be used as is.

Generally I find the colours beyond exellent. If I have a Finisher colour that matches my project I prefer to use Finishers paints.

____

Colour name : Description of its use.

CLK Silver. A.k.a German Silver. Relatively dark silver. Become very unique finish when the founation is done in either gold, black, blue and brown.

Blue Gold: Fine cold gold. Suitable for Jordan 196.
Red Gold: Fine warm gold. Suitable for BBS wheels.
GOLD PEARL LIQUID: Basic pearl finish material to make metalic colors. Mix it with warm colors like red, green and yellow.
SILVER PEARL LIQUID: Basic pearl finish material to make metalic colors. Mix it with other colors.
Chrome silver
Prost blue: Metalic Blue, suitable for AP01.

Foundation grey: Can be used as glossy surfacer. This paint does not include putty component so it can not be used for resin & metal as a primer.
Foundation cream: Good foundation for the paints that changes finishing taste when painted layer on layer, like White, Yellow, Ivory and Jaguar Green.
Foundation blue: Good foundation for silver finish painting to recreate metal
Blue purple: Raybrig NSX violet.
Foundation pink: Good foundation for red finish painting like Ferrari
Sky blue: Light blue of Mild Seven.
Ivory White 350: White with slightly mixed with cream. Good for 60's and 70's white, like HONDA RA F-1 and other old schools.
Deep yellow - 99T Dark Yellow. Good for Camel, Lotus99T. Can be used for Williams F14 and later when mixed with Pure Yellow.
Sparkling blue: Metalic & pearl blue for Subaru Impreza.
Greenish blue Repsol: Metalic Green for Repsol color.
Semi gloss black
White Foundation: For foundation in white. 2 or 3 layers are good to cover the material color.
FINE SILVER: Silver paints with super small paint particle. Bright metal finish. Suitable for large area paint like body, rather than small parts.
BRIGHT RED: Brightest red. Good for Mitsubishi Lancer Evo (after model 5), Ferrari F310B. Finishing taste changes as it paints on top of another.
Deep red: Thickest red. Perfectly fit for Alfa Romeo.
Silk red: Standard red. Good for Ferrari F40, F50, F310 early and late.
RICH RED: Relatively thick red. Good for 80's Ferrari F-1, 512BB and 246 Dino.
pure red: Gloss Red relatively bright. Good for Honda NSX, Mitsubishi GTO, and recent Ferrari 360 Modena and 550 Maranelo.
PURE BLUE
PURE YELLOW
Pure green
LEMON YELLOW: Gloss Lomon Yellow produced straight from paint material wiothout mixture. Close to Jordan Yellow.
Brilliant green: Vivid fresh green. Suitable for Castrol green, Benneton B192, B193.
BRIGHT BLUE: Rothmans Blue of FW16 and later model. Completely different from Porsche 956 counterpart.
French Blue: French Blue, suitable for Matora, Gordini and other old French cars.
West Black: Dark Gray Metallic. Good for MacLaren MP4/12 and later for most dark black part. Needs complete stiring up.
Italian red 5 colours A set of Bright red, Pure red, Rich red, Silk red, Deep red, pure thinner

AP Blue: Developped & sampled from original AP grand-prix. For advanced modellers.
PURE WHITE
Seaside blue: Metalic & pearl blue, good for R34 GT-R Skyline.
White Foundation
Jaguar green: Developped & sampled from Jaguar original paints.
Formula red: A set of 2 bottles, Red & Orange. Use orange for foundation then finish with the red, to recreate Ferrari F310B Marlboro red.
Wolf blue
Formula green
M23 Orange (NOT correct - plain oprange where it should be fluo)
Brabham blue
LEYTON BLUE: Blue Green, perfectly suitable for F-1 Layton House
LIME GREEN

Re: Finisher's Paint chart?

I had been my self always a big fan of Finisher's paints. To me right now, at least from Puerto Rico, there's no good place to find the paints with a fair price. A month ago a placed an order,,,Wht I did, I places it directly to Finisher's at the link Hiroaki posted above.

Re: Finisher's Paint chart?

Hiroaki, which one you think is the best one, Finisher's or Modeller's while it was available?
