1997 F150
I continue to get a fault code 401 which is EGR insuficiant flow. I changed the EGR positioning valve because of corrosion in the tubes and the light will not reset. What should my next step be in solving this problem. Thanks

You need a scanner to clear the codes on those vehicles. Disconnecting the battery does not help. You have an obd system. If you do not know anyone how has one, you might have to go to a garage to get it cleared.
