Suspension question?????
Hey guys and gals, i have a question that i need answered. I want to lower my car and I heard that as long as you don't lower the Max near or below 2 inches, that you can get away with not buying struts right away. I will eventually get struts but just for now, if i were to lower my 95 Max about 1.3 to 1.5 inches with coilovers, would I NEED struts right away or can i get away with not using new struts for a little while. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Do not pass Go, do not collect $200, and do not lower your Maxima without aftermarket dampers.
For a 95 I would recomend KYB AGX Save up for a little longer and buy the dampers, you will regret it if you don't.

A lot of ppl dont want to spend the extra money upfront. My suggestion is if you are going to do something, get it all done right away. Although it seems expensive right off hand, it saves you a lot of aggravation, time, and money. Instead of installing the coils....having your stock struts blow...taking it back...etc etc...you can get it all done at once and it would be a lot cheaper too.
if you decide to wait, you'll have about 3 months before they ALL blow out on you.
