Swapping 305tbi for L98tpi???

hello, i have a 1991 k1500 4x4 reg cab shortbox with a 5sp manual and a 305tbi... i was wondering how hard would it be to swap it for an L98tpi if i get the wireing harness and the ecm will it be a straight bolt on n go/ plug n play???this is my project truck and im will to spend maybe a total of about 2-4 grand on the whole thing the drivtrain and engine are where most will be spent...just looking for some good pointers...thnx guys
