changed my tails

i hate 88-89 tails. so ugly imo. i got a full set of 91 tails for $31, they look pretty good. im not sure if they are bright enough, since they lack one bulb each side. oh i got some Si seats too, nice!

tyhe differences are that the 88-89 have one bulb for brake light and 90-91 has two.... and the 88-89 reflectors are on the right of the brake light and are vertical, and the 90-91 are in the center of the light and are layed horizontal......

My 91s are all red.. Dirty's appear to be all red too.. Maybe its just for us Canadians.

88-89 have a more brighter color of amber on the blinkers. on the 90-91 the amber blends so well it looks all red most of the time. I have been thinking of changing to 90-91 tail for that reason.

just paint your 88-89 tails ... my sedan tails turned out great.

and about the lacking one bulb ... go find another civic at a junkyard and steal the sockets from that ... then split your existing so you will have 2 and problem solved.

Dont worry about it not being bright enough though ... on my car one of my bulbs burned out right now and it just looks ghetto but its definitley still bright enough.

are you saying that Canadians get REAL all red taillights? Like, when you use your turn signal, it lights up all red? I bought some painted red 90-91 tails off my friend but it would be nice to have all red real ones..
