I am confused on how low I should go with my stock integra, is 2.0 in the front, and 2.5 in the back a good drop? and will it be noticable, and will I still be able to drive and handle well? can some one please help me, im using Skunk2 lowering springs

thanks

Dave

you should drop the car even or just a little more in the front, like a 1/4" more in the front then the rear.

Hell yeah that will be noticable. Being able to drive depends on where you live, average case you can still go everywhere you do now. Just a little slower and sideways in some cases. Your handling will be drastically improved, but may be a little bouncy if you dont upgrade your struts due to the high spring rate of the Skunk2s.

also, I have noticed that integra's sit a little higher in the back then in the front, thats why i think it should be 2.5 in the back due to the way the car is "raised" a little, does anyone agree with me??

Having the rear higher than the front gives better turn-in and the car rotates better (more neutral) in turns.

Having the rear lower than the front makes understeer worse. Plus being that low will put more negative camber on your tires, which with bad toe (bad alignment) can wear out your tires quicker.

Yes you will need a camber kit. Usually the front is lower on any car due to extra weight

on top of that the car would look stupid with the back all hanging down and the front pointing up. it'll look better if the front was just a little bit lower than the back.

get some ground controls and make ur decision by adjusting the ride height to your liking. also, please don't lower the rear more than the front, you will look like a tard.

WAIT! No one actually answered your question. Don't get springs that lower your car more in the back. I have a 94' Integra and I decided to go with H&R Race Springs. They are great. 2" all around. It sits absolutely perfect! The handling is 800% better than I expected. Whatever you decide, if you didn't already, don't get anything lower than 2". I have about 3.5 inches of ground clearance and my wheels are only 15's and they barely have breathing room. 205/40-16's would be tops. Hope you didn't make a bad decision.

I dont beleive there are any spings on the market that lower the rear more than the front. The engineers are smarter than that, maybe some cheapies without any R&D are like that. If your front is higher than the rear, all your weight goes to the rear where its not needed under acceleration.

umm okay just so you know, Carbon Fiber is used to make your car lighter, not really to make it "look cool" or anything (except for some ricers). So the face that he has a carbon fiber hood on his black car isn't stupid at all.
