Tamiya 1:6 Harley Davidson FLH Classic w/Sidecar #16018

Anyone think they can tell me the color of this model??
Im not sure if its light brown or tan or khaki or something

Its molded in a deep maroon plastic.

From memory I sealed mine using Floquil Barrier and followed up using all automotive laquers (Chrysler Australia Chrystal Turquoise Metallic in this case)

And I agree, I think you can do a lot better on the price.


*NOTE... These pics were taken about 10 years after the kit was originally built, I had pulled most of it apart for cleaning and polishing before off-loading it on eBay, Unfortunately the decals had deteriorated but the rest of the bike stood up well.

You can absolutely do better on that price. I've seen that kit listed on ebay in the 100-125 range several times.

viperofoz, beautiful job on your bike. I did the Harley Superglide model several years ago, and seeing pic's of these large bikes has me wanting to do another one, and yours is just gorgeous.
