Honda S2000

The wheater is very bored in the Netherlands right now, so I was thinking about building a cabrio model I picked up the Tamiya Honda S2000 out of my pile.

The inside is pretty nice

The original wheels looks good, but I need to replace them anyway I think these rare Gartmaier SSR wheels look perfect.

The color would be Pearl Honda by Honda.

Re: Honda S2000

I primered the body and painted it in yellow. But something happened and the paintjob was horrible.... I put the model in brakefluid for a few days to strip the paint.

After some new putty and sanding I could primer it again.

And today I painted the body in yellow. The paint is a 2 part paint, so I sprayed a basecoat first and then some pearl yellow.

I hope to clearcoat it next week.

Kris.

Re: Honda S2000

Yesterday I polished the body. Today I masked the body to paint the black body parts and windows.

I planned to do nothing on them. I scribed the panellines out to make them a bit deeper and I think they are good now. No need for a wash I think.

It can ruin your model if you do wrong was on the panellines.

Although light grey panel lines on light colors works good also.
